FAQ
Good to know
Are your quotes really free?
Yes. Quotes are free and there's no obligation. For most jobs we'll pop round to measure up so the price is accurate.
Which areas do you cover?
We're based in Steeton (BD20) and cover West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and Lancashire, including Keighley, Silsden, Cross Hills, Skipton, Bingley, Shipley and the villages in between. Further afield? Ask and we'll do our best.
Are you qualified and insured?
Yes. Joe is a Level 3 qualified joiner, and JDF Joinery has public liability insurance with Henry Seymour & Co.
Do you take on small jobs?
Absolutely. Hanging a single door, fixing a sticking window or fitting new skirting are all jobs we're happy to do.
Do you supply the materials?
We can source timber, doors and fittings for you, or fit materials you've already bought. Just mention it on your quote request.
How soon can you start?
It depends on the time of year and the size of the job. We'll give you a realistic start date with your quote and stick to it.
Can I send photos instead of booking a visit?
Yes. Send photos and rough sizes on WhatsApp and we can often give a guide price straight away, then confirm on a visit.
Will you tidy up afterwards?
Always. We put dust sheets down, keep the work area tidy and clear away offcuts when the job is finished.
How do I pay?
Payment details are set out on your quote. For larger jobs a deposit may be needed to order materials.
